Southern Rising: symphonic black metal from Montevideo, Uruguay.

 

Formed in early 2020, their style and sound combine modern black metal elements with classical full orchestra passages and choral music arrangements.

 

Its ranks include very experienced, well-known, local-scene musicians,coming from legacy bands from the 90’s such as Requiem Aeternam, Zenith, Angkor-Vat, among others.

 

Notorious for their visual energy, polished sound and powerful shows, they’ve been through a vast schedule, having performed at several shows and important festivals in Uruguay, Argentina, and Chile.

 

Established today as a prominent act in the region, the band has a considerably active presence, also being featured as guests on international shows supporting acclaimed artists.

Southern Rising: black metal sinfónico desde Montevideo, Uruguay.

 

Formada en 2020, su estilo y sonido toma elementos modernos de black metal, y los combina con pasajes clásicos orquestales y arreglos de música coral.

 

Cuenta en sus filas con experientes músicos reconocidos de la escena local, que provienen de viejas bandas de los 90s, como Requiem Aeternam, Zenith, Angkor-Vat, entre otras.

 

Destacados por la potencia visual, depurado sonido y la intensidad de sus shows, han tenido una extensa agenda, habiéndose presentado en varios shows e importantes festivales en Uruguay, Argentina, y Chile.

 

Hoy consoildados como una propuesta notoria en la región, la banda ha mantenido una activa presencia, participando también como invitados en shows de artistas internacionales de nivel relevante

(ej. Cradle of Filth, Gaerea).
